Easyboot is the ultimate in hoof protection and one of the most important items you should carry with you on any ride. Prevent lameness and frustration when you lose a shoe far away from home and still finish your ride without compromising the health and safety of your horse. Easyboots can also be worn in place of steel shoes or even over steel shoes for additional protection, traction and cushioning on rocks and hard ground. These boots are ideal for horses with laminitis, founder, abscesses and other hoof related medical problems. Made from durable urethane and are available in sizes to fit most horses.
It is important to match the width of the hoof to the EASYBOOT size. The front hooves of most horses tend to be more round and wider than the hind hooves. The best fit may require a smaller size for the hind. Measure the width of the hoof across the bottom at the widest point. Measure the length of the hoof from the toe to the buttress line of the heel. The buttress line is the farthest weight bearing point of the heel. Compare your measurement with the size chart below. Ideally the width and length measurement will fit into the same Easyboot size. If the width and length measurements indicate different Easyboot sizes, select the larger Easyboot size. If the width and length measurements are different by more than one size, EasyCare hoof boots are not recommended.

Easy Foam Kit This 2-part adhesive foam kit is formulated to keep the Easyboot secure through technical riding. When mixed and poured into an Easyboot before fitting, EasyFoam expands to make an exact fitting and flexible liner. It seals out all dirt and debris, cushions and protects the hoof and acts as an adhesive. Easyfoam is not waterproof, and should not be used in conjunction with the Easyboot Gaiter, as it will adhere to the Gaiter fabric. EasyFoam is recommended for horses used in extreme conditions such as competitive long distance events, deep mud or rocky terrain. | |

Keeper Straps can be useful on trail rides or through water, mud, snow, etc., where a boot might be pulled off. The keeper strap is not recommended for fast going, flighty horses or unattended animals. The strap loops around Easyboot back strap and attaches around horse's pastern area. Keeper Straps should not be used in conjunction with the Easyboot Gaiter, as they could chafe. | |
